2018 Viceroy Cards : Space Series 2

Space Series 2 premium trading cards were released on December 18, 2018, by Viceroy Card Co. The first Space! sketch card collection was released in March 2013. Space Series 2 crowdfunding began via Kickstarter on July 18, 2018.

Each Sketch Pack contains one unique hand-drawn sketch card. A complete list of sketch artists has not been disclosed. Oversized sketch cards by Achilleas Kokkinakis were available through mail redemption.

Hobby cases contain 48 packs and 8 box toppers. Hobby boxes contain 12 packs and 2 box toppers. Each hobby box contains one cut autograph or relic card. Each hobby pack includes one hand-drawn sketch card and three parallel inserts: Die Cut Planets, Space Stamps, and Micro Space cards. Rare inserts and unannounced cards are randomly distributed in hobby packs across the entire product run.

 

Die Cut Planets are disks that measure 2.5 inches in diameter. The nine-card insert set features triangulated art of each planet in the solar system. Stamp Cards and Planet Postcards each include a cancelled space-themed postage stamp from different countries around the world.

Relic card inserts include photograph slides of Project Apollo missions, meteorite slices, and authentic space-flown material. Cut signature cards feature autographs from NASA astronauts, astronomers, and astrophysicists.

"Comet Landing" box topper cards each measure 4.25 x 4.25 inches. The 25-card subset showcases photographs from the European Space Agency (ESA) Rosetta spacecraft approach to Comet 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko in March 2015.
