1964 Hellas Jenkki : Satelliitti
Satellitti Jenkki cards were released in 1964 by Suklaatehdas Hellas Oy of Turku, Finland. The 120-card series was
distributed in wax packs with Hellas Jenkki chewing gum. The card text is
printed in Finnish and Swedish. Each card measures approximately 55 x 80 mm.
The series is copyrighted by Editorial Ruis Romero in Barcelona, Spain.
The Satelliitti cards feature illustrations of Vostok cosmonauts and Project Mercury astronauts. The collection contains various Soviet space dogs including Laika, Belka, and
Strelka. Other space travelling animals include American mice Mildred and Albert; as well primates Miss Able, Sam, and Ham.
