1992 Sanitarium Health Food Company : Living in Space

Living in Space trading cards were issued in 1992 by the Sanitarium Health Food Company of Auckland, New Zealand. The 20-card series features official NASA photographs of Space Shuttle orbiter missions and space station expeditions. Each card measures approximately 2.125 x 2.875 inches (54 x 73 mm).

One card was included with each box of Weet-Bix breakfast cereal from Sanitarium. The back of each cereal box contains a cut-out model of the Space Shuttle, the Lunar Roving Vehicle, or a space station concept. A Living in Space collector album was sold separately at grocers and by mail order. Various cards from the collection are held by the National Library of New Zealand.

The series includes the first launch of the Space Shuttle Atlantis (STS-51J) on October 3, 1985. Also featured are the Magellan spacecraft, Space Station Mir, Skylab, and the Manned Maneuvering Unit (MMU).
