2017 Topps Heritage Baseball Trading Cards were released by The Topps
Company, Inc. on March 1, 2017. The collection recreates the vintage design
of the 1968 Topps Baseball series. Each hobby box contains 24 packs with 9 cards per pack. Each blaster box
contains 8 packs with 9 cards per pack. Hanger boxes contain 35 cards.
Insert odds vary for each release.
The odds of finding a "News Flashbacks 1968" insert are approximately 1:20
hobby packs, 1:20 retail packs, and 1:7 retail hanger boxes.
The insert subset features the prime crew of Apollo 8: Commander Frank
Borman, Lunar Module pilot William A. Anders, and Command Module pilot James
A. Lovell Jr. The photograph was taken outside of the Apollo Mission
Simulator at the Kennedy Space Center on November 13, 1968. Apollo 8 entered lunar orbit on December 24, 1968.
